The TRx3900F Column Array is a high output, easy to carry sound reinforcement loudspeaker providing enhanced coverage with superb fidelity. Exclusively equipped with 9 Carvin Audio 3.5-inch transducers, it’s designed for all genres of music and venues, ranging from small to large events. The Constant Delivery Dispersion “CDD™” projects to the rear of the venue while averaging levels up front and its wide 120º dispersion covers larger audiences. The 10º vertical dispersion substantially minimizes feedback in reverberant environments. The TRx3900F power is supplied by the TRx3118A subwoofer delivering 1000W, 500W into each TRx3900F, or by your own amplifier system. The tour-grade enclosure features multi-ply hardwood for the integrity of the cabinet while the DuraTec™ finish, a polyurethane outer skin, provides UV and moisture protection. Each TRx3900F column features nine matched 3.5" drivers arranged in a tightly aligned vertical array. Stacking two columns forms an 18-driver line source that maintains coherent wavefront propagation across the system’s full 100 Hz to 18 kHz operating range. This uniform driver topology minimizes vertical dispersion, reduces distortion, and ensures smooth frequency response for listeners both near and far.
The result is sound that remains crisp, articulate, and tonally consistent—even
at long distances where conventional speakers begin to lose clarity.
Many column speakers rely on a single HF driver paired with mid-range drivers, disrupting vertical coherence and limiting long-throw performance. TRC™ systems avoid this compromise entirely by using identical drivers throughout the array, maintaining continuous coupling and maximizing efficiency.

When ground-stacked on a TRX3118A Subwoofer, a TRX3900F Column Array pair create an 8-foot-tall acoustic aperture, enabling projection that reaches well over 400 feet, depending on environmental conditions. The extended vertical height enhances forward gain and maintains intelligibility across large audiences without the harsh hotspots often associated with shorter near-field columns and point source speakers. Because all eighteen drivers act together as a single acoustic source, the TRC™ array distributes energy evenly from top to bottom, reducing front-row “blare” and delivering a balanced listening experience throughout the venue.
To complement the TRX3900F column arrays, the TRC Series systems include up to four TRX3118A high-output 18" subwoofers (TRC600A). This configuration provides the necessary low-frequency headroom to match the upper-range efficiency of the array, resulting in a full-range system capable of handling demanding music content with authority and precision.
The combination ensures a powerful, well-balanced mix that translates accurately at any volume.
Each dual column and subwoofer system is driven with over 2000 watts of clean, reliable power, offering a substantial SPL capability of 131dB with low distortion. The system’s dynamic headroom allows engineers to push their mix confidently—whether mixing live bands, reinforcing speech, or DJ productions requiring consistent impact.

The TRC400A System is an easy load in to your venue. With optional premium caster wheels and covers for the subwoofers and convenient carry bags for the column arrays, loading in for your show has never been easier.

Simple setups are done through 4 presets for LIVE, PLAYBACK, SPEECH and SUB ONLY. Everything is managed by the Analog Devices™ DSP to maintain high headroom, distortion-free performances. The amplifiers deliver 2000W, 1000W for the 18-inch sub and 1000W for the HF SATELLITE output for the TRx3900F column arrays through a twist-lock connector. Featuring Powercon AC input, this system is tour ready.

The CB3900L holds two column speakers that are up to 5”W x 5.5”D x 35”L in size. Heavy duty velcro closing flap and two deep side pockets will provide the storage and protection you need for your column array loudspeakers. Add the CV3118A and CASTERTRX to round out your transport and protective accessories for your TRC System.
