Warranty and Trial Period

Does my Carvin Corp. product have a trial period?

Yes, products sold direct from Carvin Corp. to you, the customer, come with a 10-day trial period except for replacement low frequency and high frequency drivers including diaphragms. In the event that you wish to return a new item to CARVIN CORP for exchange or refund within the 10-day trial period, complete the RA Request form. Refunds are not offered beyond the 10-day trial period. Item(s) being returned must be postmarked for return by the 11th day after you received your product or no refund will be given. All Items must be returned same as new - no scratches or dents, repacked in its original carton with all packing materials and arriving undamaged. All customers are required to prepay the return shipping cost of an item being returned. CARVIN DOES NOT PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING. If you purchased your product through a dealer then you will need to return it back to the dealer according to the dealer’s return policy.

IMPORT DUTY and VAT ARE NOT INCLUDED in the price and will be billed to you directly from the shipping courier.  Please check with your local government regarding import duty and VAT rates and percentages.

Limited Warranty

Carvin Corp. warrants the electronic and mechanical components of this product to be free of defects in workmanship and material providing the product is used under normal operating conditions.

Limited Warranty does not cover the following conditions: a) modified products either electrically or mechanically in any way, b) moisture, c) salt/smoke/contaminants, d) natural disasters or any act of God, accident, fire, flood, ect. e) abuse, f) lack of reasonable care, g) modification or removal of the factory applied serial number, h) loss or theft. LOW AND HIGH FREQUENCY DRIVERS / DIAPHRAGMS that have burnt voice coils, exhibit a burnt smell or has damage to the cone or spider are not covered under this warranty. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. Warranties are not transferable. No representative or person is authorized to represent or assume for CARVIN CORP any liability in connection with the sale or service of CARVIN AUDIO products. CARVIN CORP shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. The customer is responsible for shipping charges. Warranty is non transferable.

 Products not meeting the warranty guidelines will be replaced or returned at the customer’s expense. Carvin Corp will notify the customer by email. After 4 weeks, all products remaining in our position will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Carvin Corp.

How do I return my product for warranty service?

Obtain an RA (return authorization) number.

All returns and exchanges MUST have a Return Authorization number or our warehouse will refuse the shipment. To obtain your RA number, visit carvinaudio.com/raform and complete the online form. Upon approval, you will receive an email with the RA number, shipping instructions and form to print out and include with your return shipment. Print the number on the outside of the package and place a copy inside the box with the product. Keep a copy for yourself. Shipments will be refused by the warehouse if there is no RA number on the package.

Write the RA number on the outside of each package being returned. Our shipping department will refuse packages arriving without the RA number clearly marked on the outside of the box. Shipments arriving without freight prepaid will not be accepted. INSURE YOUR SHIPMENT. Items lost or arriving with shipping damage will not be covered by Carvin Corp. Products arriving damaged from improper packing will be returned to sender.

Proof of Purchase: Carvin Corp. asks that you retain a copy of your receipt for proof of date of purchase which is required to claim warranty service. If you cannot provide proof of date of purchase, we cannot process your warranty claim as there is no proof that your claim is within the warranty period.


What happens now that I have sent in my product for repair?

As soon as we receive your product, you will be notified that it has been received. We will verify the problem as listed in the RA form and proceed with the repair or replacement of your product. If your product has been discontinued or is no longer available, we reserve the right to replace it with a product of similar function and value or a store credit.

How can I contact you regarding the status of my repair?

You can email us at support@carvinaudio.com. Provide your name and RA number and the reason for your email. You will receive a response within 24-48 hours.

Does my repaired or replacement product have a warranty?

Yes, your repaired or replacement product has a warranty for the balance of time of the original warranty. For example, if your product was sent in 6 months from the original date of purchase for warranty service, your replacement product will come with a 6-month warranty.
