Experience powerful, professional low-frequency performance with the Carvin TRx5118AF Active Subwoofer — the bass foundation of the TRx5000 Series.

The TRx5118AF is built for concerts, festivals, houses of worship, theaters, production companies, and permanent installations that need deep, controlled, high-output bass. At the heart of the system is the 18-inch T-MAX™ TX18-8 transducer, featuring a long-excursion 4-inch voice coil and reinforced suspension designed for continuous-use performance.

With 2000 watts of Class D power, a tuned bass reflex enclosure, and output reaching up to 136 dB SPL, the TRx5118AF delivers the impact and depth required for full-scale live sound reinforcement. Its 35Hz–150Hz frequency response captures the weight of kick drums, bass guitar, electronic music, and modern production tracks with authority and definition.

The TRx5118AF also features ALL DSP™ processing with Ethernet™ network control, allowing access to system tools such as EQ, delay, presets, monitoring, mute, and venue-specific tuning. Multiple subwoofers can be connected through the Ethernet™ network, making the TRx5118AF part of a complete, scalable TRx5000 system.

Designed for real-world deployment, the TRx5118AF can be ground stacked with TRx5210AN line array elements, transported with the optional DB521018 dolly system, or flown using the TRx5000FLY bumper in approved configurations. Its IP45 weather rating, DuraTec™ finish, moisture-resistant woofer cone, treated grill, rain hood, and watertight AC connections provide added protection for outdoor events and demanding environments.
