RMA (Return merchandise authorization) FORM

All returns and repairs in or out of warranty are to include the RMA form. Fill out the online form. It will be Emailed back to you. Print out the returned form/Email and include it with the product to be returned or repaired in the shipping box. Keep a copy for yourself.

REPAIRS OUT OF WARRANTY CARVIN does not repair products over 5 years from the invoice date. However, we do offer a new product EXCHANGE program, which a number of products qualify for. Your service tech may can look for schematics here. We also have a limited selection of repair parts for your technician.

NEW MERCHANDISE RETURN

In the event that you wish to return a new item to CARVIN for exchange or refund, whether it's due to shipping damage, DOA (dead on arrival), or if you simply decided on a refund within the 10 day trial period, the item must be received within 17 days of the purchase date or it is not refundable. All custom orders including custom vinyl guitar and bass cabinets are charged a 20% restocking fee, or in certain cases are not refundable.

RETURNING ITEMS

Shipping is to be pre-paid (no CODs). Carefully pack the unit, preferably in the original shipping carton. Include the RMA form. CARVIN is not responsible for damages incurred during transit or shipping charges.

REFUND PROCESS

Refunds are processed within 3 business days after your shipment has been received. Please keep in mind that all credit card issuers and banking institutions have their own guidelines for processing refunds. Merchandise paid by personal check will be issued a company check within 10 business days after your return shipment has been received.

ITEM DOESN’T WORK

Review the TROUBLESHOOTING guide in your manual to verify that a problem exists. Returns are sometimes unnecessary because the function or feature was misunderstood, or the unit was operated incorrectly. If this is the case, CARVIN does not pay for shipping.

TUBES

Tubes are especially sensitive in transit, which can cause problems that can be easily rectified with their replacement. Call our SERVICE DEPT if you feel that a tube is defective.

UPS CALL TAGS

For items requiring an EXCHANGE because of a problem within the first 30 days of the original invoice date, CARVIN will issue and pay for a UPS call tag for items under 100 lbs. If there is no problem found, the customer is responsible for shipping. All shipping is via GROUND UPS.

SHIPPING UNDER WARRANTY

For items under warranty, CARVIN pays the return shipping for up to 100 lbs, for up to 90 days from the invoice date, which is verified by the serial number where applicable. All shipping is GROUND UPS. Please fill out the RMA Form and include with your shipment.

REPAIR DROP-OFF

You are welcome to drop off your repair at our factory showroom between 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, Pacific Standard Time. Complete the RMA form and include it along with your item to be repaired.

REPAIR TIME

Depending on the problem, repair times are typically 10 business days. If your item is not paid for or picked up within 90 days of arriving at the factory then it becomes the property of CARVIN.
