The TRx3018A is an active 2500W, X-Drive DSP processed subwoofer with an additional amplifier output for running a top main cabinet. The TRx3018A is simply our finest single 18-inch powered subwoofer system featuring power for external cabinets. The high power, cast frame TS18B woofer features a deep 23mm, inside/outside wound, 4-inch voice coil with outstanding deep bass performance. Optimized presets for several Carvin cabinets are factory programmed for simple connect, select, and play. Made in the USA.

Active 2500W System

The 2500W active X-Drive DSP processed module provides a 1500W bridged amplifier for the internal 18-inch subwoofer and an additional 1000W amplifier output for external main cabinets. The internal X-Drive DSP processing maximizes performance output and protection using up to 48DB/oct crossover filters, parametric EQ, alignment delay and limiters. Turn on the Enhanced Bass and the ultra low end will come alive, lowering the cabinet’s frequency response by another 15Hz and boosting the 35-50Hz response. The DSP will control the output to keep this added response within the limits of the speaker.

Connect, Select and Play

The TRx3018A external amplifier output is ideal for powering two TRx3903s (See TRC systems), and up to two: TRx2115s, TRX3210s, TRx12Ns, SCX1115s or any top main cabinets down to 4 ohm. The internal X-Drive DSP has been setup to maximize performance output of the preset Carvin cabinets. Don’t have a Carvin main or not finding your cabinet? Simply go to the "Variable X-Over" preset, select the crossover frequency and you are ready to go. Don’t need to power a top cabinet? Go to the "Sub only" preset, select the crossover frequency for the sub and you are ready to go.

Cornerstone of the TRC-A Column Systems

The TRC-A (active) column systems are compact powerful live sound systems, with the TRx3018A as the cornerstone for system amplification and DSP processing. The TRx3903 columns complete the systems mid to high frequency coverage to produce wide and clear sound reinforcement. Each TRx3018A can externally power two TRx3903 columns. The internal X-DRIVE DSP processor maximizes performance output, so all you need to do is select the TRx3903 preset, plug in the speakers and play. These systems are small enough to fit in a midsize hatchback, but large enough to fill a 600 person banquet hall with a full band.

Flexible and Fast System Setup

The TRx3018A features foot locating holes on top for stacking another TRx3018A and for stacking up to 4 TRx3210 line array elements without hardware. Three top pole mounts feature 16" spaced dual pole system for suspending two TRx3210 speakers or two speakers side by side for wider coverage. The third traditional center pole mount is for suspending two stacked TRx3903s, TRx2115, TRx12N, SCX1115 or any standard 1-3/8th pole mounted equipped cabinet.
